Blythedale Beach
General Information
Blythedale Beach is a lovely holiday resort at the northern end of the Dolphin Coast close to the Umvoti River mouth ideally situated for keen birders. This area is geared for outdoor lovers with excellent beaches, walking trails and water-based activities.
The area is great as a relaxing holiday experience with the swimming areas protected by shark nets. During season dolphins and whales can be spotted - a delight for tourists. Not far from Blythedale Beach is the famous Anglo-Zulu Battlefields, Zululand game reserves and Lake St Lucia World Heritage Site, a must-see for all visitors.
